Collision/Movement Crash

Repeatedly and quickly pressing movement keys will eventually cause the game to crash.

I started it. It´s nice so far and the mode works well. :)

I reproduced that crash. Of course I didn´t find anything so far. I´m just at Habitat Alpha.

Cool. Thanks for confirming that you could reproduce this issue. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the initial movement vector slightly pushing you inside of the ground geometry without enough time to push you back out before you press the input again. It might take me a while to implement a fix.

I was also able to reproduce that crash. It did not crash when I tried it inside the hab.

Interesting. That might prove my theory since the hab interior has no sloping ground so you would not be "pushing" yourself into any geometry. I will research this more.

Wasn't able to recreate it but there was one time leaving the habitat, the game crashed. I do not know if it was the same bug since i was going outside.

If this happens again, do not relaunch the game. The log file gets overwritten when you launch the game. If the game crashes I can direct you to the location of the log file and you can upload it as an attachment to a bug report. Thanks.

Oh yeah the log. How is it called?

The log file can be found in the "Lacuna Passage_Data" folder (which is alongside the exe) and is named "output_log.txt". On Mac it is located in "~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log".

Ok, the output file. Thanks.

Fixed

I'm hopeful that this has been resolved. If I get more reports I'll reopen it, but I can't recreate the issue anymore in v0.51.
