Duplicates 1

Well, that's a new one. I'll take a look. I should actually be able to get a fix for it that will make that save playable again, so you can set the save file aside if you want (save it to a different location) and then you could start a new game while you wait for the fix. Just an option.

Actually, if you have a save file that I could take a look at that would be awesome.

Thanks. I'm aware of these issues and I'm working on a fix. If they aren't fixed in the next update (24 hours or so) there will be a patch soon after.

Just out of curiosity, if you have a spare minute to answer: how does the rover end up on the interior hab map to begin with? I'd expect the hab interiors being essentially completely separate, stand alone maps where the player is "transported to" upon entering, with no connection to the exterior "world map", where the rover is located / saved at. Does it happen because of something like the rover position somehow getting incorrectly transferred from the world map to the hab interior map when it's loaded, and since it's position is invalid in that world space, it is placed at some kind of origo?

Yes, its very confusing. But it seems like it "teleported" to me.
I was parking the PRT infront of hab Alpha.Than I left and loaded in again on the next day...
And the rover was behind me...I was even able to drive it INSIDE the Hab....
I tried to bug myself out again but that didnt help.

I just bugged myself out of the wall, and than I was able to drive it inside the Hab A.

P.S.I think there was just a bug that the game didnt know where to place the PRT, so it teleported it behind me.

(Or the save file got damaged while leaving the game)

The answer is really that I'm just a terrible self-taught noob programmer. The rovers persist between inside and outside the hab. And there are some conditions obviously where they are getting reset to the same origin as the hab. I just need to figure out why that's happening.

You are not, if you ask me you did a awesome job making Lacuna Passage.

If I play it I enjoy it, and NOBDY can say its a bad job  you've made.I mean you made that all by yourself with a little help from others. You should be proud of yourself.

Thanks. I am proud of what I've accomplished, but I am often frustrated knowing that many of the mistakes I make are just a result of not having any formal training in this stuff. It takes me a lot longer to figure things out and fix things sometimes, but then it's also more satisfying when I do because I know that I accomplished it all on my own. It's definitely very fulfilling and I love all the help I get here on the feedback forums.

Same here when I try to script a text bot with like 400commands...
It's like....hard, I am litteraly trying to figure out how I link the Trello website of Lacuna Passage to the bot..
I want  that if people type !updates that they get the latest updates...But I dont know how to link those....

The worst thing can happen when I script and make mistakes is:THERES IS NO DEBUGG BUTTON

So when I make a mistake in like 219 script lines I can throw them into the bin...

Or if I am lucky I find it.

If anyone experiences this bug again please see if you can save the game and have the bug visible again after exiting and reloading your save. If it is something I can view via a save file that will really help me get a fix. Attach your save file here and I'll check it out. Thanks.
