Running has a hidden stamina meter that is also influenced by how exhausted you are (how long it's been since you've slept). Would be good to have a way to show the player their stamina while running, but that's hard to do in a "scientific" way like all the other survival stats. Open to suggestions.
I'm at the point in the game where I need to find two other habitats. (Not that far in, I know.) But I am not given any clue to where they are, and I am left to crawl the Martian landscape blinding looking as far as I can tell.
I wish there was a document I could find, in the landing crafts or the first habitat, that could give me a general direction to try to find the next habitat.
Sometimes if you install an electrical component into a module it will fail if the power to the unit has not been turned off first. I will add a tutorial notification so that this is explained. It is in the equipment manuals, but it should be more clear.
LOve the game. Hate that I cannot go more than a 100 meters or so without my battery dying. The consumption rate is just too much. There is just no time to explore nor get more than a couple hundred meters from the hab. There are many other ways to make the game a challenge without resorting to the short leash. I have yet to see one of these space survival games survive with these kind of restrictions.... Just my 2c and I have played soo many of the survival type games and they all die when all you can do is stress about your oxygen and stuff literally every 4 to 6 minutes.. Too short of a time most of all in sandbox where the point is to explore build ect....
Will there be a future addition to allow auto walk? Walking back to the Hab from nav station or a pod could at times be quite draggy especially during night time and distance being more than 2km
If a system fails while crafting it wont be visible until the lights go out or other catastrophic failures, so if your suit is empty you cant even go outside to fix the problem because neither hab or suit has any power, this needs some warning or maybe blue lights when the power drops below 10% on the hab.
Translated from German post in Steam Forums:
Activate under "Options"> "Controls" "Old Datapad Controls", then I can no longer use the bed and thus no longer save the game. I switch "Alt Datapad Controls" again, then everything works as usual again.
If I go with "Alt Datapad Controls" switched on with a click on "Main Menu" out of the game, it always happens that the resolution (Display Resolution) is adjusted to 640 x 480.
OS: Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
Can someone confirm the two bugs someone?
Is it possible to split the audio volume controls into categories to allow adjustment of each type. eg. Music, Environment, Player.
When I record videos for YouTube I tend to "massage" the volume controls of games to allow the best blend of sound.
