I see - i didn't make the connection between the alt datapad controls being enabled or not. Thanks

I am doing the exact same thing. Maybe we need a more forceful incentive to do things the "right" way. Like perhaps a potentially lethal shock from trying to repair something that is powered on. Not joking. IRL, I would never replace an electrical outlet with the power on. I was thinking about this as a game and since there is no real consequences I didn't change my behavior.

Standing still was fine. In this case i was walking using the "auto-walk" command with the ~ key. while i was walking everytime i invoked the datapad using either V or N it went into the zoomed out mode and i kept walking. I didn't have to hold the shift key. It was actually a positive experience - i wished it worked that way all the time. But, i do understand that there is a keyboard conflict since you added the ability to use WASD to navigate the datapad. I am beginning to feel like WASD should just be for movement and remove the 'walk' commands while the datapad is open and just allow the datapad to come up in zoomed out mode when you are walking. Seems more intuitive. Just a thought.

I agree with the original post. Maybe call them crashed supply pod.

The way that I do crafting now is to take a screenshot of the crafting requirements and paste it into MS Paint or Outlook and have the picture open along side the game while I fill my inventory.

In fact that is how i remember what is at each interesting location on the map. I take a screenshot of the container, for example, from the outside so i know where it is on the map. Then i take screenshots of the container contents and i put all the images into MS OneNote. This avoids the timer burn down while I am in the datapad or examining the contents of something.

I like the idea of water being represented independently of "inventory" like oxygen and power. I guess my only comment on how you would "withdraw" water is that I am ok with doing it as long as I don't have to do it 10 times to get 10 units of water.

I found "Drill Rover Storage" at 283.072 -6.4689 - don't know if that is the bugged location or not.

Drinking water seems to improve it also.

Yeah - i definitely drained the oxygen and i suspected that might be the reason. I think it would be better for the plan to stay visible but unable to be used until there is enough oxygen with a notification message indicating what the issue is.
