I would estimate hopefully less than 2 months. I'm putting out a stats and achievements update very soon (within 48 I think), and then after that there will be a dust storm feature update. The controller and remapping update is slated right after that.

Crafting an oxygen filled canister will now require 50L of oxygen in the hab reserves. This will be in the update coming in the next couple days or so.

Thanks. These stupid map markers not working correctly are going to give me an aneurysm.

My idea would be to only allow mouse control of the datapad when the player is not walking. So if you are standing still then the mouse would no longer control your look direction and would instead display an on screen cursor that you would control. I haven't even started to test this yet though so it will take me some time to get it working. I would love to include it in the Controller Support and Button Remapping Update that I have planned.

It's something I'm considering, but right now my main concern is feasibility of testing. By requiring the player to sleep in order to save it vastly reduces the number of variables that need to be recorded for the save file. This makes it easier to ensure that things are being loaded back in correctly when you relaunch the game. The plan right now is to implement the option to save by sleeping in an emergency pop tent while out on an EVA, but those won't be coming until the Dust Storms update.

I had originally planned on displaying it that way, but I thought it would look too awkward in the case of extreme exhaustion. If you are very exhausted then you can have almost no stamina at all. So that means you would jump all the way up to the max heart rate in only a few seconds, which seemed more unrealistic to me.

Of course, if you remove your helmet when you have no reserve oxygen then that's not gonna end well for you :)

Alright, I prioritized this after your post and the changes will be in the update coming soon. You will be able to take on and off your helmet while inside whenever you want via the hab status screen and it is only automatically removed upon entering if you have reserve oxygen in the tank.

I appreciate the feedback. It's definitely something I am working on improving. The problem is that there is a level of abstraction between the mouse and the datapad screen, so it's difficult to map mouse cursor representation to your mouse movements. It's not impossible though, so I will see what I can do.

I think I'm going to rework the suit/helmet logic for when entering/exiting based on oxygen availability. There are a few things I could do to make it more intuitive and realistic.
